Step 1 Open An Image Hosting Account


First you'll need a place on the net to upload your photo. Whatever service you choose make sure they allow hotlinking, the process of hosting on on service and displaying on a different website.
Here are a few places that have free accounts.

http://www.flickr.com/
http://www.picturetrail.com/
http://www.shutterfly.com/


Step 2 Copy the Location of Your Photo


Upload your photo to your image host.
You need the address of the actual photo file, NOT the page its displayed on so look to see if it is provided already eg

You can also find this info out by right clicking on the image and select properties. It usually ends in jpg.


Step 3 Paste the Location Into Your Message


When you have found the location of your image (called the URL or address) on the hosting server your ready to post it in the forum.
Click the 'new topic' or 'reply' button in the thread you want to post. A text box will open on a new page.
Paste the pictures address into the text box and enclose it with the img tags [img][/img] so it looks something like this,

Make sure the box below the textarea marked 'Disable BBCode in this post' is not checked.
Finish writing your message and click submit.
Your image should now display like the example below.
