Just wanted to say Hi and hope this site gets going. I live in central Virginia just south of Richmond. Have been into Photography for over 30 years and still learning. I have just switched from film to digital a few years ago when I had my film camera give up right in the middle of a wedding. Boy you talk about sweating for hours, that will do it for you, LOL. Lucky I brought the digital a long to play with. At the time I was using a Sony f828 with the Zeiss 28-200mm 2/2.8 and had the adapter with me for the Metz handle mount flash. Now have a Nikon D200 and an assortment of lenses to play with. Again thanks Simon and hope to see more people posting in the future.

Hi Freddie and welcome!
My own shutter seized a few days ago but a technical tap on the side got it working again. I have a couple of weddings coming up and I'm nervous as hell about it happening again. Guess I'll have to invest in a back up!
In a few year time when this site is #1 (*cough) you'll be able to tell your friends 'I posted the first pictures on that site' 
keep em coming!
